The classic 1997-2003 series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar joins the Viacom-owned MTV and its sister network Logo in January 2010. The series will first launch on Logo with a marathon on New Year's Day, from 6:00 A.M. - 12:00 A.M. ET! Yes, that's 18 hours of Sunnydale goodness! Buffy will then air regularly on Logo weeknights at 6:00 P.M. & 7:00 P.M. and also 2:00 A.M. and 3:00 A.M. beginning January 4th. It will also air at various times on weekends, such as Fridays in prime time at 9:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M., as well as during the mornings on the weekend. As for MTV, the series premieres with an 8-hour marathon on Sunday, January 10, beginning at 11:00 A.M. Then it will regularly air on MTV weekdays at 11:00 A.M. beginning Monday, January 11th. This will mark the first time the series has been on cable since FX stopped airing the show last fall, when they had relegated to weekend mornings. Buffy aired on and off on FX from 2001-2008.
