BTW's Dracula comes alive at Casa Loma

Brant Theatre Workshop's production of "Dracula -- A Love Story" will come alive next month in the perfect venue for a play about a vampire -- a "medieval" castle constructed at the turn of the century. The creation of local writer and actress Sharyl Hudson, who based her work on the late-19th century novel by Irish author Bram Stoker, will be staged at Casa Loma in Toronto for two weeks in February.

Re: BTW's Dracula comes alive at Casa Loma

Saw opening performance last night. It can be a little confusing with the way it goes back and forth in time so you really need to pay attention to the dialogue. Some VERY fine acting from Ken Oberoi (Jonathon Harker) and excellent performances from most of the other main actors. Casa Loma is a beautiful venue and it was a lot of fun and excitement moving from room to room... especially down the secret staircase to "the dungeon" (which i think was an indoor swimming pool??). Go see it!
