"The Vampire's Assistant" trailer

First trailer for the upcoming film The Vampire's Assistant (formerly Cirque du Freak). After viewing the trailer I'm a little disappointed. Having never read the series of books, I wasn't sure what to expect, however, it seems very...generic. And the jokes completely fall flat. And what's the deal with Gollum making a crossover from LotR? ;)
Ah well, time will tell if it turns out to be any good!

I agree. There were a number of head-scratching "jokes" that fell flat, so I'm not sure what they're going for here. But from what I've read, the movie may be less kid-friendly than the trailer would have you believe.

Yeh I'm not too sure but I will give it a go. I haven't read the books so the movie won't be too much of a disappointment in comparison for me. The trailer reminded me a bit of an old Hammer film and it seems to be of a certain genre, not quite sure which as yet.

This one is hard to gauge, I haven't read the series, and didn't think much of the trailer. Will probably just be a rental for me.

I was really looking forward to this movie but after seening the clips and reading about the cast I'm a bit disapointed to. It seems they've alterter the timeline and events aswell as adding more charecters (For example Rebecca the monkey girl) I'm still going to go and watch this movie though.
