March 31, 2007 (The Border Mail / Austrailia) - A woman dubbed the "lesbian vampire killer," who was jailed for life after murdering a father-of-five and drinking his blood, may soon be transferred to lower security. Queensland's Chief Justice Paul de Jersey yesterday ordered authorities to promptly hand down a decision on whether self-proclaimed vampire Tracey Avril Wigginton should be transferred to a Gold Coast prison farm.

She was 24 years old when she was jailed in 1991, after pleading guilty in the Supreme Court in Brisbane to the brutal slaying of council worker Edward Baldock, 47.

Dracula coach faux pas

January 16, 2008 -- Officials in Transylvania spent $392,000 on a luxury coach for Dracula sightseeing tours - only to find it was too big to get through the city gates. Entry to the old centre of Brasov is through 10ft medieval gates and councillors were embarrassed to find the double-decker coach was too high.
