May 16, 2007 (Yahoo! India News) -- Rocker Marilyn Manson has named himself a 'vampire of love' who loves to prey on young women and craves to 'consume' them. The 38-year-old, who is dating young actress, Evan Rachel Wood, said that he always thought that his association with vampires is very obvious.

He added that he has the same weakness like the vampire, which can be killed by stabbing through the heart.

"I've always thought that association, with the romanticism of vampires, was a bit too obvious a fit for me. But a vampire is only something that can be killed by stabbing it through the heart. And that's my weakness, metaphorically," Hollywoodrag quoted him, as saying.

The rocker also said that the idea of a vampire preying on young women and drinking blood during night-time, sounds very romantic to him.

"A vampire is a character that only comes out at night-time, and ultimately preys on young women. And drinks blood. This idea of consuming someone, whether it's literal or a metaphor, is quite romantic," he said.
