June 19, 2007 (comics2film.com) -- New Line Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Blade: House of Chthon on 18th September 2007 priced at $19.97 SRP. Based on the Blade franchise, Blade: House of Chthon is the feature-length, extended and unrated pilot of the television show, Blade: The Series.

Penned by David Goyer, writer of the Blade trilogy, Blade: House of Chthon follows Blade (Sticky Fingaz of the rap group Onyx), a unique half-breed with all of the strengths of the vampire species but none of their weaknesses, in his quest to destroy the entire vampire population and save humanity.

He is joined in his mission by the ruthless and beautiful Krista Starr (Jill Wagner), who is searching for the secret truth behind her brother’s mysterious murder.

Fatal Vampire Attack in Germany

April 4, 1995 (The Fortean Times) - A man of 75, walking Jockel, his Dachshund, in Berlin on 4 April 1995, was attacked by a 43-year-old man who bit him on the neck, shouting "I am Dracula!" Passersby overpowered the attacker and handed him over to police. He said he had been drinking.

The victim went home and died an hour later from a heart attack.

Pensioner Trapped in Cinema After Dracula Movie

December 2, 2002 (Romania) - A 60-year-old Romanian woman who went to the cinema to watch a version of Dracula spent several hours alone in the building after she was accidentally locked inside.

Zinca Margarit, from Bucharest, was on the toilet when the cinema workers checked the building and left.
