May 14, 2008 -- Pink slips were handed out today to the CBS drama Moonlight. The vampire series was a critical hit but only managed to attract 7.5 million this season.

In an odd move, CBS is taking feedback about the recent cancellation of Moonlight -- be nice, now! They're looking for demographic info and your opinion about the show. I believe the phone #'s are 212-975-4545 and/or 323-575-2345.

You can also call 818-655-1779 after 8:00am Pacific time today, May 16th! CBS is taking a head count, but only until 6pm Pacific/9pm Eastern.

It's rumoured that CW may be interested in picking up the show.  Perhaps some fan support their way might help:

Also, you can send a snailmail to, or call the SciFi/USA channels. Maybe they'll become interested in picking it up:

On Dominica there exists a creature known as the soucoyan. The "official" explanation of this creature's origin is that it is a curious combination of West African spiritualism and 18th Century Catholicism.

I miss you, dark angel,
In ways I never thought
I would;
As A cup-companion,
A partner in adventures,
Confidant & co-conspirator,
Fellow-lover of pseudo-life:
We hunted together
In the shadows, the cloak of the night.
Even though Another wooed me towards the Light,
Seduced me for time into the Day.
But it did not last,
The sun set.
You remind of the patient Darkness
In my own soul;
The windows which, drawn, could be curtained
Or withdrawn to show a glimmer of shuttered light.
