Yikes! I just saw some commercial about how women gain an an average of 2.4 lbs per year after they get married. This commercial was for some weight loss clinic/plan/system that was telling women "You too can be back to your wedding weight!"

 

Ok. I went into a local furniture store to pick up an item I saw on a circular in the mail. I walked in and there were only a few people in the store that I saw, walking around and two employees in the front of the store. I'll say here, that the employees, all of them at this location were at least 40 yrs old.

I swear to you I'll never get tired of it. Especially standing there as they keep on digging, thinking to myself that they can't possibly think they are so intelligent, so good at their tales, so velvet tongued that I'm simply hypnotized by them and believe every word.

 

Tonight is quiet, maybe it needs to be. It’s been a year since, and I remember when I heard the news. It was April the first and I thought it was the most horrible April Fool’s Day prank. When I knew it was not a joke,  my first thought was “Was it one of our’s?”  One of the ones I work with at the store. But realized:
