When you cry out in pain
and nobody can hear you,
when your dying inside and
it appears that nobody can
see it in your eyes or that
they even give it a second
thought or don't even care
about your silent screams;

When you scream out for help
and nobody even notices your
true confusion about your
own very existance or your
own worth or your own right
to live because without any
acceptance no one has any
acceptance for themselves;

My silent screams are heard
by none thus I am neither
pitied nor shunned by any
so I won't try any harder
but instead I will turn my
silent screams into no more
then a faint whisper on the
wind never to be....known!

A lost child sits in the lonely box.
Oppressive, cold, and dark
-- It is home.

Every day the same.

Jump into crystalline air.
-- Shower.

No one can see
Her porcelain dress
-- When the lid is down.

A quick brush,
The right blouse
-- Work.

And yet she dances
-- For herself

Be sure to put on a show
-- For others

-- Until the music stops
