Were anyone to walk by that section of wall, they might have noticed a small curled up figure sitting on the ground. If they were of preternatural learnings. Otherwise she hid rather well in plain view. Not that she exactly cared if anyone saw her, Koreena was rather wrapped up in her own thoughts again.

'I've been alone too long again, I don't think I can be comfortable. I've changed, I wont fit in. Stupid Ven, thinking of one hundred reasons not to when your heart is screaming to just go in.' She sighs rather softly. 'I don't want to be alone anymore...' Digging within her cloak she pulls out a small silver flask. Ever so slowly she unscrews the lid and raises the flask to her frowning lips. Before taking a drink, she lowers the silver container again and reseals it, placing it back in her cloak.

'Now or never.' Quietly she raises and brushes herself off. 'How to go about this...'

Gathering the little courage she is feeling, Koreena walks over to the back off the Inn, by the gardens. With a little exertion, she jumps up to the balcony and slips though the doors there. Koreena Anchalis is home now, the familiar sights and scents enveloping her. "I missed this." Slapping her hand over her mouth, realizing that was said aloud and making her presence known.

'D'oh.'

From without I see a Dreamer,
From within a crying babe.
From without I see the Creator,
From within I see a knave.
From without I see a monster,
From within a budding babe.
From without I am a demon,
From within I'm goddess gave.
What am I?

Koreena watches with slight reservation as the men in the room disappear to 'investigate' and as LB soon follows. While they head outside Koreena takes her drink and moves over towards her chair. She sits down and closes her eyes, listening to the myriad of tiny sounds coming from outside the inn, a mental image forming for her. Blinks at Demon's changing. 'That doesn't happen too often...or maybe he is less reserved now. Could have caught it without the show.' She grins and takes a sip of her drink.

(for Heidi, Uwe, Bodo, and Bernd)
The Ojibwa Shaman slit the white man's throat, releasing his last breath as a jet of bright red mist into the cold winter air. Pressing one knee into his victim's back, he grabbed a massive fistfull of the man's long black hair, yanked back the head and ran his blade across the tight forehead. With a sudden, hard wrench, he ripped off the entire scalp as if it were the pelt of a rabbit. Steam rose from the man's naked, blood-slick skull, making it look like it was on fire.
