Short Story

*hearing the exclamation about the bartender, or lack thereof, Deadend swings the door open wide*

Lousy?? I didn't think I was THAT bad. *L* You never complained before, LB.

*Deadend enters the Black Raven Inn dressed as he always had in his saner moments...tightly creased black dress pants, nearly reflective black shoes, a white silk shirt and blood red smoking jacket...his dark brown hair combed neatly atop his head*

Feeding Habits of Vampires

There are many interpretations of the vampire myth both in folklore and legend. The nature of the vampire varies greatly from culture to culture and often from region to region with a general cultural area. In the pages of fiction, each author has his or her own unique interpretation of the vampire.

Vampire bats blamed for rabies outbreak

August 10, 2008 (The Independent / Ian James) -- At least 38 Venezuelans have died as a result of a suspected outbreak of rabies spread by bites from vampire bats. Laboratory tests have yet to confirm the cause, but the symptoms point to rabies, say researchers from the University of California at Berkeley and other medical experts.

Powers and Limitations of Vampires

Dracula's powers and weaknesses: This is a series of quotations from the book Dracula by Bram Stoker (the Signet Classic version). I hope through these quotations from the book to help interested parties get some ideas of the powers of vampires, for Stoker basically introduced the myth of the vampire to the masses (in other words, he made it more widespread than it had ever been before).
