Cold as ice, thou breath doth feel,

Skin ablaze in firey hell,

Mine heart crushed beyond repair.

Speak not the memories of past ages,

think not the cold caress of teeth to flesh,

but think always of my love for thee, tortureous.

Love not the way I think you dear,

nor of the way I hold you near,

but the way I buried you, alone, forsaken.

I remember thine piercing eyes,

the cold gray steel of pained past lives,

as I laid you down to rest, forgotten, unwanted.

I spoke several comfort words,

as though you could hear my sorrows,

I said goodbye the final time, anger, vengence.

I hunted down the foul beast,

cursed his dying breath to last,

I drove thine stake into his heart, revenge, freedom.
