I'm not completely sure if that is a real Dictionary sanctioned word:) But it fits and I saw it on another site to describe something that I have used before in regards to meditation. It has worked for me, *laugh* another one of those things that works but I seem to become lazy about using.
.
What I have done, when I have doubts or need guidance about some descision I need to make, or a situation I'm in, or just something to think about; is to open a book after a prayer or if you wish an expression of Will. I have one I use frequently. I allow the book to open wherever it will and read that page. Ironically it has something to do with the questions I have.
I began using this as a tool of meditation when I was looking at a meditation a day type book, and it occurred to me that I might not need the exact same guidance EVERY single June the 8th. So turning to that page was really not so spiritually guided.
I find it easier to meditate on a passage instead of a whole book or situation.
