Sam is under severe stress and begins to develop odd mental and physical symptoms. To help, his wife plans a vacation road trip to a remote town in Mexico with their best friends. As the party descends deeper into Mexico, Sam begins craving red meat and becomes unusually sensitive to light. The vacation takes a turn to the macabre. Filmed deep in desert towns and remote fishing villages, Sam's journey encounters "David Lynch-like" characters and settings in this psychological thriller that ends with a shocking twist.
