People reports that Swanson, 37, was arrested Saturday night (June 16) for allegedly assaulting Marcia O'Brien, the ex-wife of Swanson's boyfriend, figure skater Lloyd Eisler.

August 25, 2008 (Jim Schoettler / The Times-Union) -- A man who police say claims to be a 225-year-old vampire is being held in a Virginia jail, charged with sexually battering a young Jacksonville girl in May and two other young girls he was living with at the time of his arrest last week.

I like playing "horror" parts on the screen. This may surprise you, but let me explain my point of view. There is a popular idea that portraying a monster of the Dracula type requires no acting ability. People are apt to think that anyone who likes to put on a grotesque make-up can be a fiend. That is wrong. A monster, to be convincing, must have a character and a brain.
