December 11, 2008 (Daily Record / Grant Mccabe) -- A former boxing champion stabbed his step-dad to death days after accusing him of being "Dracula". Anil Kumar, 23, who had claimed to be "God's son", also tried to kill his older brother, a court heard.

December 16, 2002 - A Boulder fang-maker who sued his former business partners for launching a rival vampire costume venture has been awarded triple damages and interest totaling more than $2.4 million. In a 20-page ruling, a federal judge in Denver said additional damages were appropriate in part because the defendants had provided "incomplete or false testimony" in a case that proved intentional violations of patent laws.

July 10, 2003 (The Herald Sun) - A Melbourne prostitute and alleged self-proclaimed vampire who was shot dead in his driveway was buried today. Shane Chartres-Abbott, 28, was gunned down as he left his family home in Howard Street, Reservoir, last month. About 30 family and friends attended the funeral at Preston this afternoon.
