She creeps up on silent feet, whispering in my ear to ready myself once again, for the first time....

We've shared this embrace, my long lost lover. Your pale hands wrapped round my wrist to drag me to this sea of moonlight.

And as we float on the shade and shadow, the bottom falls from beneath us and we plummet into the blackness.

That cold encasing blackness that fires my soul.

Did you miss me as much as I missed you, my dark beauty?

Did you miss our dance beneath the bright moon, full and heavy, dripping with ice?

They swept across the Bosphorus and into Eastern Europe with a vengeance, conquering the squabbling Slavs with ease. With them, they brought their middle eastern civilization, and some of their beliefs, but mostly they brought suffering. Suffering in the form of syphilis, leprosy, smallpox, tuberculosis... and God Himself seemed to turn against them, sending flood, earthquakes, and plague.

When it happens for the first time
its so real.
It becomes repetive and slow
the same.
Repeating will make you believe?
No.
I become wary. I become nervous.
I think
you are who
You say you are.

Answering lies with lies.
I lie too
Lying about
who you are...where you are...what you do...what you stand for
I do not appriciate lies
I do not appriciate repetition
I want real.
I want truth.
I know what I want.
And its not you.
Anymore.
