Todays’ vampires, for the most part, are desirable creatures; although still evil in some respects, many are upper-class, refined individuals with both a conscience and a definable sensuality about them.

June 7, 2007 (Minnesota / Winona Daily News / Kevin Behr) -- Wearing orange prison garb, Michael Earl Kulas Jr. sat quietly as the judge read his sentence in court Wednesday. The 21-year-old, convicted of three counts of sexual criminal conduct, must now serve 20 months in prison after which he will be eligible for 10 months of supervised release. He could face additional time in prison if he violates a 10-year probation.

July 14, 2008 (Prague Daily Monitor) -- Archaeologists have uncovered a 4000-year-old grave in Mikulovice, east Bohemia, with remains of what might have been considered a vampire at the time, Nova TV has reported. The experts made the terrifying find within their research of a burial site from the Early Bronze Age.
