I sat in a bar last night
Drinking, yet sober.
All around me the nightlife swirled;

Girls flirted,

Why?
Prey was there for me,
But I didn't take it.
Why?
Perhaps because what I really missed

The cup-companion I always needed,

A flash

Short gasps and moans , a breathe trying to find
A tender hand upon the brow slide
