Me
not the mask but-
the one behind it.
The one always searching,
seeking,
for answers too eluding,
escaping,
seeping through the cracks-
of consiousness and into-
my being.
Me
I am not the mask but-
the person behind it.
I have feelings,
thoughts,
expressions-
words.
I am me.
Not a doll but-
Me.

*waking in the room, Saraphine knows that she is in the Black Raven Inn. Not knowing nor remembering how she got there, she is still very groggy and can't see very well, she can make out a figure standing over her*

August 2, 2002 (The Calgary Herald) - Mathew Hardman's preoccupation with vampirism was chillingly foreshadowed in the months before he killed his 90-year-old neighbour. People stand and stare at Me
eyes accusing, watching Me
makin' remarks and downin' Me
but still today I'm here.

They'd make me want to hurt Myself
want to break and bleed Myself
till My soul would leave this hell
but still today I'm here.

I got real strong to stop the tears
made Myself forget My fears
turned away and closed My ears
and today I am truly here.

What happens when theres a war?
Death and Malice is what comes to mind;
What is the point of war?....Order?
How do you bring about order with chaos?
In war there are casualties, heroes, and civilians;
But when the war is in your backyard
no one is safe and there are no heroes;
If the war is in your backyard there
is nothing 'cept casualties and despair.
