July 10, 2003 (The Herald Sun) - A Melbourne prostitute and alleged self-proclaimed vampire who was shot dead in his driveway was buried today. Shane Chartres-Abbott, 28, was gunned down as he left his family home in Howard Street, Reservoir, last month. About 30 family and friends attended the funeral at Preston this afternoon.

The fate of one "vampire killer" was determined in Arkansas recently, while three people in Guyana still await their chance to prove in court that they acted rationally...if they can.
