July 10, 2003 (The Herald Sun) - A Melbourne prostitute and alleged self-proclaimed vampire who was shot dead in his driveway was buried today. Shane Chartres-Abbott, 28, was gunned down as he left his family home in Howard Street, Reservoir, last month. About 30 family and friends attended the funeral at Preston this afternoon.
