She looked out over the people before her, calmly. 

When you cry out in pain
and nobody can hear you,
when your dying inside and
it appears that nobody can
see it in your eyes or that
they even give it a second
thought or don't even care
about your silent screams;

When you scream out for help
and nobody even notices your
true confusion about your
own very existance or your
own worth or your own right
to live because without any
acceptance no one has any
acceptance for themselves;

My silent screams are heard
by none thus I am neither

 

It's too soon
I'm so tired
leave me be.

I'm exausted
let me sleep
now I can't

willing the
sleep to

this side
of that wall

without

Death to the wicked, I declare
Peace to the restless whom I scare
Kill for spite;
What an appetite
For destruction it is that I have
Listening for my scream
Seeing my delight
Madness in my eyes
Sparkles very bright
Searing heat seizes me;
Chilling coldness grips
My body rebels that which is given
For now I cannot see
Laughing just for spite
Crying out with all my might
Pleading with the lion;
The Unicorn roars into the night
Stars sparkle and shine
I am losing my mind
