The creators of the popular The Batman animated series pit the Caped Crusader against the Prince of Darkness in this energetic full-length animated feature. This isn't the first time Batman (Rino Romano) has squared off against Dracula--the Dark Knight faced him in the critically acclaimed graphic novel Red Rain--but in this battle, he's up against not only the King of the Vampires (voiced with gusto by Peter Stormare) but his longtime foes the Joker (Kevin Michael Richardson) and the Penguin (Spongebob Squarepants' Tom Kenny); it's the latter who accidentally revives Dracula, and reluctantly aids the bloodsucker in unleashing a wave of vampirism in Gotham. Can the Batman defeat this terrible trio in time before lady-love Vicky Vale (Tara Strong) becomes their next victim? Only one way to find out--and while you're enjoying the film, be sure to explore the supplemental features, which include "Voices in Close-up," with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the film's vocal talent, as well as "City of the Knight," a game that allows access to additional behind-the-scenes glimpses. --Paul Gaita

A dark kiss upon my neck
A soul forever young
Whispers forgotten upon the wind
Of past ages being sung
A moonlit night with clouds concealing
The face upon the land
That moves with swift intentions
Into the realm of man

Beshackled by superstitious lore
Hunted by fools and fears
Forever alone in a world of many
To wipe one's own blood-red tears

One day to find one to share
An eternal state of grace
For now lost in the moonlight
Another hidden face

Devlin stepped into the hall, his footstep echoing down the hall as he moved swiftly. The voice was back. His silence gone after he had given the necklace away. It was the only thing that could keep her restless soul from tormenting him; reminding him of mistakes made long in the past. Even he the great reborn magi could not block her voice, and its sweet memories. She whispered in the back of his mind, telling him of his wrongs and protecting him from those that might end his existence; a cruel punishment he would not soon get out of.

I have yearned for tonight for so long,
In nights dark cloak I wait.
How can what we want be wrong?
When all we feel is love not hate.

Here within the stable block,
I nestled in the hay.
Whilst listening for the churchyard clock,
To chime the hours away.

I felt not fearful of the night,
Or anything within.
For he had given me clearer sight,
Of nature and her kin.

Though he was only a humble man,
And I a highborn lady.
We loved as no two others can,
For that was our sweet destiny.

The Raw power surges,
The play upon shadows
The demons of Dark and light
The raw feeling, Fight or Flight
The Body intermingled so close
The Dance of ages un fortold

The urge to hurt someone so strong
The knowledge of what you do is wrong.
The satifaction of blood upon white skin
The bond of knowing you WILL win
The Flow of blood around you, coursing trough a vein
The betrayal of brother upon brother, Abel and Kain

The power to Feel to be yours
The desire growing canceriously like sores.

Perhaps the most iconic image from Legend is the ravaged Brooklyn bridge, its middle span destroyed by a bomb to quarantine New York in one of the film's crucial action sequences. "The middle span is gone up to the towers, and from the towers on, you can still see the suspension cables, the vertical cables and the deck [from the towers to the shores].
