The creators of the popular The Batman animated series pit the Caped Crusader against the Prince of Darkness in this energetic full-length animated feature. This isn't the first time Batman (Rino Romano) has squared off against Dracula--the Dark Knight faced him in the critically acclaimed graphic novel Red Rain--but in this battle, he's up against not only the King of the Vampires (voiced with gusto by Peter Stormare) but his longtime foes the Joker (Kevin Michael Richardson) and the Penguin (Spongebob Squarepants' Tom Kenny); it's the latter who accidentally revives Dracula, and reluctantly aids the bloodsucker in unleashing a wave of vampirism in Gotham. Can the Batman defeat this terrible trio in time before lady-love Vicky Vale (Tara Strong) becomes their next victim? Only one way to find out--and while you're enjoying the film, be sure to explore the supplemental features, which include "Voices in Close-up," with behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the film's vocal talent, as well as "City of the Knight," a game that allows access to additional behind-the-scenes glimpses. --Paul Gaita

Bow me down to you
Bend my legs beneath me
Pull my head to the floor.

I have lower status than you.

Or so I chose.

Pull my hands out in front of me
Position me just right
Just how you want me.
Want me.

Hmmm...what's good she asks? *sets the glass down and looks over his inventory* Ah! Here we are. *fills a goblet with red liquid...the essence, the stuff of life...vitae* This is your preferred brand is it not? *shows her the bottle* As for what's upstairs, I wouldn't worry too much about that yet. All should become clear soon enough. *smiles*

The music of Reginald Clarke's intonation captivated every ear. Voluptuously, in measured cadence, it rose and fell; now full and strong like the sound of an organ, now soft and clear like the tinkling of bells. His voice detracted by its very tunefulness from what he said. The powerful spell charmed even Ernest's accustomed ear.

The Darkness is your gravest fears,
and your gravest foes,
and your dimmest thoughts;
This Darkness, that Darkness,
its all the same Darkness
which chases so many
including myself.

This Darkness in my heart,
that Darkness about my soul,
thhe Darkness behind my eyes
dictating my every thought.

The Darkness surrounds and
engulfs my very being and
existance.
