A modern-day vampire tale dripping with hot-blooded eroticism, nocturnal sensuality, and untamed lesbian seductions that reach extreme new heights in carnal horror. A plague of sexually-charged vampirism stalks the streets of New York, and no one is safe from its contamination. Susan has been recently turned, and she must pass the curse on to a fresh victim to insure its rampant human infiltration. Seducing her boyfriend Burt to the point of exhaustion with a voluptuous body and an unholy mouth, Susan delivers the final undying kiss. A vampire himself now, Burt hunts for his first meal, and he ends up in the bed of the sex-starved Jasmine. Burt puts the bite on her, and another monster is born. Jasmine ravishes Kate body and soul, and on and on and one by one the sensual bloodlust is spread as prey becomes predator - victim becomes vanquisher. The lives of ten people will forever be changed on this crimson night.

A Most Vicious Vampire
One of the worst cases of clinical vampirism is that of Fritz Haarmann, also known as Germany's "Hanover Vampire." Haarmann was actually institutionalized at one point during the late 1800s, but he managed to escape. Eventually he became a homeless vagrant. Then he learned to butcher meat, which allowed him to have a home and start a business. Having his own place protected his attack on boys.

Cold autumn evenings,
looking out a window at the fading light,
winter seeping into weary bones,
thoughts turn to friends empty, pity filled hugs,
wondering if that is all that is left for me.

Only wanting to love, to be close to someone
but I get only to watch others walk hand in
hand, seperated, as if I'm in a glass cage.

Helpless, unknowing how to deal with all these
pain filled feelings.

Trying to keep hope but always losing sight.

Looking around and seeing friends full of love

Lust for life
Somewhere inside the adult female reader lurks a 12-year-old girl breathless at the idea of romance and mystified by the rules of sexual engagement, the one who (in my case) stayed up three nights straight devouring "Gone With the Wind." Although Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" series of vampire romance novels is aimed at young adultsages 12 and up, I'm certain there are a lot of older women reading them too.
