Could I train myself to ignore the boredom,
And excuse my own insanity,

I find myself envious of the child,
For her mind is not her prison,
So that one day she wakes to find her mind clouded,confused.
A small ant encased in a pickle jar prison,
Small crumbs of her dignity scattered around her glass cage,
Even the small delights of life

A Valentine's Day surprise occurred in Arizona when an apparent agreement between a man and woman became much rougher than expected -- even terrifying. Robert McDaniel, 46, learned to his dismay he was with a "vampire."

His dark hound chasing me
I could feel its cold breathe on my legs
those glowing red eyes
and those sharp white teeth
mounted in a mastiff's body.
I came in peace
and in seek of knowledge
I posed no threat to him or his kind
he sent his hound on me
for no apparent reason.
Rescued I was
by a tall dark stranger
the evil hound dead by his side
he saved my life
this wierd stranger.
